Antique Hip FlaskA rare book shaped hip flask made by James Dixon & Sons & retailed by Asprey.The flask was had a charming personal inscription probably done by Asprey\'s London.It reads -
My valued SolicitorMr Harry Myers,FromHis Valueless client.(Signature)
D--M SOLA ET CASTA!Harry Myres was a Jewish solicitor working for Rubinstein & Myres & co in the Grays Inn area of London c1910, I can not read the signature.
It measures 14cm x 10.7cm x 2.2cm & holds 8oz.The flask is showing its age, mainly on the leather on the removable lid also the metal is curving on the corner.
