This sale is for a rare brown Coronet Midget sub-miniature 16mm bakelite camera in fair to good condition. The camera is a fully working model measuring only about 2½" x 1¼" x 1" and was part of my late father's large collection of photographic stuff which is slowly appearing on as time permits.

I would describe the camera as being in a fair to good condition with no chips or cracks in the bakelite that I can see. I have included plenty of photos below so you can get a good idea of the condition yourself before placing offers.

The camera features a fixed aperture f/10 meniscus lens with a single shutter speed of 1/30th second which is working just fine. There is a simple but clever little slider on the side of the camera which when pushed to the right stops you from firing the shutter. It used 16mm film producing 6 exposures 13mm x 18mm. It has a direct vision viewfinder and a simple knob for film advance. Inside the camera does not have a pressure plate fitted which some of these cameras have. There is a single film spool included but no film. The Coronet Midget camera was made in Birmingham, England between 1934 and 1943.
