A 19th century doublefaced animalCameroon exquisite headdress or mask, its large and the workmanship is quite amazing, all hand embroided , the colours are good and both sides seem to have a face. It stands approx 20\" and would have sat on the head in rituals and ceremonys , metal clasp on the back but has some moth bitten areas on the silk,very unusual and rare, it needs to be displayed correctly to really appreciate it,you could fill it as I have done or frame it behind glass as able to lay flat!sent well wrapped and recorded.
