Offered today is a Wonderful Antique 19th century Carved Cake/Pastry/Butter Board or Print of small size.The carving is Exceptional and deeply detailed consisting of strawberries and pomegranates!I\'m not sure its original use, possibly a small cake board, a pastry mold, or butter print.The carving is of the quality seen on signed Congers/Watkins cake boards of the early 19th century,done by a master carverI believe the wood to be maple and would date its manufacture to be 2nd quarter of the 19th century.The back side has a brand (see pic) that may either be the maker of a previous owners stamp.A Rare form with great detail and untouched natural patination.
