Beautiful and rare elephant hide grey armshell from Eames. Early production as I cannot find a logo or mark anywhere, perhaps 2nd generation Zenith?This example is in good vintage condition with a few signs of age, namely some dirt that could probably be deep cleaned out, one replaced shock mount and a patched up crack. Also some various nicks and tiny chips.I bought this shell with a crack starting to form and had it professionally patched with colored epoxy and fiberglass dust - see pics for a closure of the repair - it\'s amazing how well it came out! If I didn\'t mention it you likely would never have known a crack was beginning to form. It is still being sold as is with the condition that the fix may not be perfect.Local pickup is also an option. The base is not included, shell only. I am only letting this go because I have way too many chairs and would love for it to go to a home that would get more use from it.Because of the nature of the item, I cannot accept returns. Please ask any questions beforehand. This is being relisted due to an ignorant buyer - please please understand the condition isn\'t perfect and ask any questions before buying! Unfortunately due to this bad experience I will no longer ship this overseas.

The replaced shock mount is different then the rest and thus you cannot screw in the screws completely - doesn\'t effect performance just wanted to note. You may wish to replace the other three.
