Rare antique clear glass paneled biscuit jar cigar humidor with a knob handled lid, an oval label section on one side, and marked with the embossed lettering on the bottom \"Factory. No. 87\", \"50\", \"1st. District. Pa.\". The 16 panel piece measures 7\" high overall, 5-1/2\" high jar only, 6\" wide at the rim, and 5-3/\" wide at the base and the piece has no cracks. The lid has a beautiful hollow knob handle but has a large chip on the top of the outside rim and a small flat chip on the bottom of the rim at the edge. The sides and bottom of the jar are great with only ripples in the glass and all of the lettering is like new and extremely distinct. The top and outside edge of the rim have small chips on 1/3 of the perimeter while there is slight roughness on the inside of the rim almost all of the way around.
