Up for sale is a Wonderful Winterhalder / Colonial Grandmother Clock. Very rare piece.
The clock\'s dimensions are approximately; H- 70\", W- 10\" & D- 10\".
Model Number: 1412.
Circa: 1920s
The Case: The case is in fine physical condition and has a wonderful patina. It has a beautiful \"Chinese/Japanese\" motif. The case has not been refinished and is exactly what a collector wants, nothing altered or changed that I can see. The top finials are original and not replacements.
The Dial/Face: The dial is in excellent physical condition and has a wonderful patina. The hour and minute hands are original and fit tightly to the arbor.
The Mechanism: The 7 jewel Winterhalder 8 day spring driven time only mechanism has been running well for the last couple weeks. It has a strong ticking sound and keeps accurate time.
The Keys: I will provide a new winding key.
Antique collectors and/or clock enthusiasts will love this original condition clock that is in great working order.
