This is a Rare Double Stamped Advertising Red Wing Stoneware Bean Pot. The advertising reads: COMPLIMENTS OF SONTAG LUMBER CO., established business in 1902 in Heron Lake, Minnesota and the advertising is on the opposite side of the bean pot (I have photos of the advertising on both sides). The bean pot is 6\'\' tall, 7 3/4\'\' from handle to handle and is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. It does have normal manufacturing defects such as glaze skips, which is common on the Red Wing Bean Pots. This is another Minnesota advertising bean pot from my dads collection that I\'m selling.
