VERY RARE Vintage Original Beautiful Coronation Mug Offered here is cocoa or coffee mug crafted as a commemorative souvenir of the 1937 coronation of King Edward VIII, Edward of course abdicted the throne & his brother George succeeded him.
This Beautiful English piece is made of glazed pottery with the colorful emblem of Edward on one side flanked with oak leaves & acorns. The opposing side depicts the initials ER VIII under the Royal crown along with the year 1937.
Measures 2-5/8\" in diameter across its mouth & 3-3/8\" tall.
The underside of the base is marked as pictured:
\'Mintons\' with crown emblem
