This is not to be confused with the soft enamel coin I am also offering of this coin. This is for a limited production sample run in hard enamel/epola often referred to as artificial cloisonne. Only a dozen were minted in this process and I am offering 10 for sale. The other two will remain in my collection of \"salesman\" samples. These will not be re-made in this finish.
Finally arrived and available for immediate shipping. Beautiful 2 inch 3D challenge coin of the Saint Louis Police Department St. Michael Challenge coin. Is is 2 inches by 3mm thick with a reeded edge. It is designed in stunning 3D relief on both the reverse and obverse with a vertical flip (us coin) as depicted in the photo of the actual mold.
I have spent months designing this coin and worked with my 3D mold artist to give this coin the best 3D relief and representation of the Patron Saint Michael guarding the city of Saint Louis with a double edge sword. Saint Michael, the Fleur De Lis and the Saint Louis Police badge are plated in nickel while the rest of the coin is electroplated in real gold.
I am a retired St. Louis Police officer and designed this coin to bring morale and pride to the officers and family members of the Saint Louis police department. I enjoy the challenge of designing these coins and hope you enjoy the finished result.
