Oval indented edge shape with flat bottom.
Three man on bridge standard willow pattern. Distinctly bluishrippled glaze.
Coysh, Blue and WhiteTransfer Ware 1780-1840 shows asigned Herculaneum plate, 9.9 in., #50, p. 42 c. 1820 in this standard versionand a somewhat earlier Herculaneum two man willow on a 12.6 in. indented dish,c. 1807.
Impressed all caps HERCULANEUM mark. Godden mark #2007, “…c.1796-1833”.
Rare fine signed example with very slightnatural wear but no damage of any kind.
