ALL ORIGINAL! Rare and delicate1790-1810 carved mahoganyNew England Sheraton Work table with fitted, dovetailed divided drawer. Retains its original finish and surface almost completely intact from 1800. Very delicate turned legs . Lovely grain and carving, and very solid. Top is only 3/8\" thick, but is intact, and is one board. Height still 29\"x 21\" x 24\". Original Basket of Fruit brass pull, slightly bent brass.Larger dovetails. Poplar secondary wood. Very fine work. Drawer including drawer bottom, is slightly thicker than the top. However the entire piece is extremely lightweight and thus is very versatile to use and move anywhere in your house. Retains all its original parts, no replacements, no major repairs other than suspected removal of possible burn mark or gouge in top. This is a one of a kind piece- you won\'t find another like it. Ask questions, and do look carefully at the photos! This is clearly an American piece- thicker drawer with larger dovetails and poplar secondary. The delicateness, rich mahogany and overall choice of woods, thinness of the top, fine brass pull indicate an urban center, and may well indicate New England.
