THE WATCH IS RUNNING VERY NICE AT PRESENT, It has not been monitored for time keeping. It has not been regulated for time keeping! It has not been serviced. It is a vintage pocket watch and therefor no guarantees on longevity.

    Description - Condition :The Case:Nice designed base metal case with locomotive on back cover. The bow is tight, the crown has great fluting for winding and setting the watch. The front and back cover screw on off as designed for a seamless look and feel. They are a littlecantankerousto get started but one you do they spin right on down. The body of the case has a nice pronounced coined edge for a sure grip while winding and setting the watch. The case is nice for being a 128 years old. There are vintage carry scratches for sure. It is nice & clean and has a nice shine, however it does have your vintage carry scratches,probablynot as nice as it once was 128 years ago.*** see pictures.The movement:is a beautiful frosted nickel and has a nicestraightline damasking finish, it is very clean looking.It is American Waltham signed and made of the Waltham quality we have all come to know and trust for years.Markings on the movement\"American Waltham Watch Co., 15 Jewels, Safety Pinion, 3397287\"It has a gold balance wheel and gold cup screw down jewel sets.The balance wheel is flat and true with a nice swing. It is a stem wind and lever set movement. It has not been serviced. It has not been regulated for time keeping. This will be up to the proud new owner who I am sure will have the patience to accomplish this task. Of course a goodservicingishighly recommendedand needed for all vintage watch\'s and should be performed by the new owner afterreceiving.*** see picturesThe dial and hands:The dial a nice Waltham signed beautifully designed off white metal dial that has light patina, and the sub dial is at the 3 o\'clock position with black Arabic numerals and is diamond marked for hour with stick markers for minutes. It comes with deep cobalt blue thin spade hands for hour and minutes that sets the dial off just right.     In general this is a very nice 128 year old pocket watch in average condition. This pocket watch will make the winning buyer a nice piece for there collection, or a great gift for a loved one.
