Opulent and rare antique c1860 French tassel. Triple tiered with elaborate fringe, silk and chenille in cream and muted blue, pure faded grandeur. Still rich and splendid - this is fabulous.
This is a massive piece, measuring 15 inches from the top tier to bottom of the fringe. Once part of a chateau-style curtain tie back, it still retains 17 inches of its original plaited cord.
Condition is slightly timeworn, still quite wonderful. Dusty from storage, faded colors, loose threads and some bare spots, but overall beautifully intact for age. It looks amazing!
