This item is in VERY GOOD - EXCELLENT condition EXCEPT that the internal spring is broken. This spring is an inexpensive item or can be fabricated easily if you want this toy to work properly.
This spring wraps around the metal screw that holds both halves of the gun together. One end of the spring is supposed to lie flat against the inside of the gun barrel. The end of this spring has broken off and the broken end can be seen in the photos.
The other end of the spring extends into the gun and lies up against an internal lever. This end is intact.
This spring should be easy to fabricate by anyone with a 3\" piece of spring steel and a pair of pliers.
