We also have for sale a number of other vintage Rolex watches & boxes.Presented in superb original condition is this extremely rare 1937 solid 18k gold Art Deco Rolex with a very rare Roman numeral dial. This is a very scarce high grade collectors Rolex.The genuine top quality three piece 18k solid gold Rolex case is in excellent original condition, this is an extremely rare case design with horned stepped lugs. The case measures 34mm in diameter excluding the winding crown, an unusual larger size for such an early example. The case back is signed on the inside \'ROLEX 31 VICTOIRES DE HAUTE PRECISION GENEVE SWISS 18K 0.750\' and and has the serial number and case reference 3763 on the outside. The serial number 54389 dates this watch to 1937.The absolutely beautiful and rare silver dial is in mint condition having just been restored. The dial has large black Roman numerals with lume dots, the slim blued steel hands contrast beautifully with the silver dial, a very eye catching and rare configuration. The dial is signed \'ROLEX CHRONOMETER\' with the older style Rolex crown logo in the twelve position. The very high grade 18 Jewel Swiss made Rolex caliber 700 movement is in superb condition and is keeping excellent time over a 36hr period, this movement has been well cared for over the years and has had a recent service. The watch winds and sets smoothly. The movement is signed \'ROLEX CHRONOMETER TIMED 6 POSITIONS 18 RUBIES SWISS MADE\' on the half plate and \'PATENTED SUPERBALANCE\' on the winding wheel. This excellent condition and very rare solid gold Rolex chronometer is in ready to wear condition.
