Magnificent antique Victorian era 24\" Black Forest hand carved \'Fruits of the Hunt\' themed wall plaque, an impressive solid wood panel with large, detailed deer and game bird figures along with other hunting items including a rifle, powder horn and a beautiful array of foliage raised against the shaped plaque! A single yes but they don\'t come any finer where condition and detail of carving are concerned. Dating from the mid to late 1800s and guaranteed to impress! Beautiful decorative accents these, flank it with a pair of large trophy mounts, antlers or bracket shelves. The figures are fantastic, just under 3\" in depth and, as you can see, wonderfully realistic! Very good to excellent condition. Possibly a small nip or two to the foliage or tips of the rear plaque but, as you can see, nothing major to point out. The deer\'s antlers appear to be shaped down a bit, as if they were originally a bit larger but were chipped. No warping and no worm/bug holes that I can see. Our shipping days are Tuesday and Friday, paid items will be shipped on the first shipping day after payment is recieved (except when special circumstances exist). We prefer to use USPS whenever possible, and require all packages to be insured. If you prefer another method of shipment, please mention it. We charge only actual expense of shipment/insurance, except in the case of larger items which must have special wood crates built. Wood crate charge, when applicable, is a flat $35.00 in addition to actual postage & insurance charges.
