Here is a rare bronze plaque by Sir William Hamo Thornycroft (1850-1925) which was presented as the Open Championship Horticultural Prize by Toogood and Sons Southampton, HM The Kings Seedmen.
The item is in very good order and is signed in relief on the edge Hamo Thornycroft 1919. It measures 11 x 6.75 and has 2 lugs and a handing wire attached to the reverse.
A very interesting and highlydesirableitem for any keen gardener or collector of such items.
