What a lovely James Dixon and Sons Sheffield, England, silver plated, four piece serving set from the 1880\'s.
Beautifully designed and electroplated with Ebony wooden handles and lid toppers on both the teapot and the coffee or hot chocolate pot. The creamer and sugar bowl are also very elegant with similar stylized handles made out of silver metal as opposed to Ebony. Each piece is ornately engraved with the letters \"LB\". The bottom is stamped with the traditional trumpet and banner marks of James Dixon and Sons.

Measurements including handles:
Coffeepot: 7 3/4\" wide x 8 3/4\" tall x 4\" deep
Teapot: 9 3/4\" wide x 6 5/8\" tall x 4\" deep
Sugar bowl: 7 1/4\" wide x 4\" tall x 3 3/4\" deep
Creamer: 4 3/4\" wide x 3 3/4\" tall x 2 3/8\" deep

The pieces weigh over 3 pounds total and will ship insured via US Priority mail. Overall these antique pieces are in good condition with minimal surface wear, some tarnish and only a couple of very tiny dings, which you have to hunt for.
