Up for sale: This is a RARE find! You are offerding on a Kubuto glass rod. If you\'re unfamiliar with this rod, do some research then come back and offer. This rod is in NEW condition. It was made by master rod builder Chris Barclay, of C. Barclay Fly Rods in Missouri. Again, use the Google machine and see for yourself. Perhaps as lovely a rod as we have seen here at the shop in our program since a pair of Tom Morgan Favorites came through earlier last year. This is a superbly-made rod, and is a beauty to behold. Would be a killer small stream rod from Hot Creek in CA to Mossy Creek in VA.

This rod is in pristine, unfished and uncast condition. Everything is perfect, from the lovely untarnished nickel silver hardware, to the nearly untouched cork. Blank is perfect. Comes with original custom rod sock and brass fitted aluminum tube from C. Barclay. Given these reasons, we conservatively rate this rod as a 9.5/10, with 10 being new. Again, just a lovely rod, all of us here at the shop were tempted to buy it ourselves.

Due to the scarcity and difficulty in getting a new Kabuto rod, reserve is set accordingly. Reserve is set BELOW retail as well, you can get yours now without the hassle of overseas shipping or other issues.
