For your consideration is a delightful, vintage, lusterware bowl. The outside is lined in shiny goldwood logs and 6 large birds are sitting on the top.The bowlmeasures approximately 7 1/4 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches tall. The birds are white with blue wings and the top of their heads has a purple cast ( see photos #8 and #11). It appears to have been made in Japan although the piece is unmarked. There are no chips, crazing or cracks. Its a very unusual piece.
