This large, wonderful textile printing block was created sometime after 1860 and before 1930 by J Barrett possibly for David Evans and Co. Ltd of Crayford in Kent, England. It was hand-made from wood and small brass pieces which have been individually cut to form a finely detailed print design. Original painted block number remains. Cracks and fabulous patina. Ready to display on your wall.
Square print block measures slightly more than 12\" and weighs approximately 5 lbs.
