This is an awesome large leather sea turtle footstool/ottoman made in England. It is in excellent condition with the original leather label still around its neck.
The turtle is all leather, no wood. The seams are all tight, and the leather has a great patina that resembles the mottled look on a tortoise shell.
The turtle is about 12\" high. The neck stands erect at 12 1 /2\". It is 25\" from one front foot measuring straight across to the end of the other front foot. It is 27\" from the head to the tail. The back feet are 21\".
The turtle makes a wonderful accent piece as a leather art form.
