A late 18thCentury English antique blue-green mallet bottle with raised pontil / kick-upbase.
Technicallythis is a transitional bottle seen between mallet and cylinder.
Bearing aseal "Wiliam Gaffill 1796". Believed to originate from theSouth-West of England, possibly around the Devon area.
Condition- Okay. There is acrack in the the glass which is stable. Cork stopper is later.
