This is a fabulous example of the fine design and construction of sterling silver jewelry from Taxco Mexico byLos Castillo. The geometric design consists of 22 links, which allows the necklace to lie beautifully around the neck and with the hidden box clasp there is no interruption of the pattern. The enameling technique know as \"Esmalte a Fuego\" was used by Los Castillo for a short period of time, making this a rare piece.

Circa 1955

There are two Hallmarks: One is Los Castillo with eagle 15 Taxco. The other is Sterling Made in Mexico Esmalte a Fugeo.

It measures 14 3/4\" by 5/8\"

This necklace comes in very nice condition. The enamel is in perfect condition without chips, and the patina is original.
