This is arare challenge grade goldeneye duck decoy from the early 1900’s. Unfortunately this old guy has seen somebattle and must have been a heavily used decoy.Original glass eyes but the bill has been chewed off by a puppy. Great old crusty hunter overpaint. Scattered shot and chew marks and a chip inthe back. The head is original to thebody but is loose and has been redoweled at some point. A nice old warrior for the shelf or possiblecandidate for restoration.
