Height: 7 in. x Width: 10 in. x Depth: 6 1/2 inHistory: Luisa Bordoni was a famous mezzo-soprano whose husband, Johann Adolph Hasse, was a composer and harpsichordist.Bordoni had a well-known affair with another man, one Herr Fuchs, whose name means “fox” in German.Thus, the Meissen porcelain piece above is one elaborate joke, poking fun at the affair.What’s more is that the musical score being played was written by Bordoni’s husband!Condition:Excellent.
