ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE GREATEST PAIRS (For THIS type of Austrian Porcelain) YOU COULD EVER FIND with ALL 4 FULL PANELSIDES with DIFFERENT VIEWS of what appears to me as VARIOUS VIEWS OF COURTING SCENES - CUPID WITH HIS BOW and ARROWS, et. al. -- Actually to behonest ... THIS WOULD HAVE TO BE X-RATED if you wanted my REAL OPINION of WHAT IS \"GOING ON\" ..... lol lol .. THOSE GIRLS! .... those GUYS!! ..... One girl hashad a COSTUME MALFUNCTION, showing a FULL BARE BREAST! .... I COULD GO ON... but, WILL STOP! --- Take time to VIEW EACH PANEL and it willkeep you BUSY!
I have had these SAME VIEWS and they have always been SIGNED by KAUFMANN (Angelica) and just have to ABSOLUTELY CALL THESE by HER (Check the pairselling on right now for $1800.00; Like BACKGROUND and VIEWS are signed Kauffman with several others) ... so I REST MY CASE. On this pair all side panels MATCH onBOTH VASES as well as the TOPS and BACKGROUND TRANSFERS and GOLD --- REMARKABLE and I ASSUME the COMPLE PAIR \"TELL A STORY!\"
Circa 1890-1910 Era --- Vases are right at an AMPLE 13 1/4\" Top to Bottom being 6\" Wide at Widest Section and the GOLD ON THE HANDLES IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! I just can notsay enough about this pair ... for this type! OK ... MAYBE NOT A WAGNER .... but HELLO .... WHAT A GREAT COLUMBUS, OHIO ESTATE FIND!
