Rare Moorcroft For MacIntyre Pottery George V Coronation Teapot STUNNING !!!!! . Up for offer is this exceedingly rare George V coronation souvenir teapot executed by William Moorcroft while working at the MacIntyre pottery firm. The teapot measures 3 3/4\" tall and 6 3/4 inches from handle to spout. The front is emblazoned with the notice of the commemoration and the reverse side has the kings initials. The top is beautifully decorated with purple and ochre flowers with green leaves. The bottom is marked with the MacIntyre factory stamp along with a hand written M along with a numerical cipher for Moorcroft. This is an absolutely beautiful and early example of Moorcroft\'s work and needless to say quite rare.The edge of the lid has a small chip mostly confined to the underside and is not readily seen when the pot is displayed and there is some light crazing but other than that there are no real issuse .
