I am selling this extremely fine quality and very rare antique Persian Qalamdan. The Qalamdan dates from 1800\'s during Qajar Era and is made from papier mache. It has then been hand painted beautifully with these stunning scenes.
The quality of the painting is unbelievable. This is one of the best Qalamdans I have sold on . The photos really do this item no justice. It is much more beautiful in real life.
There are beautiful scenes of young Qajar women and men typical of Qajar artwork.
There is also the inkwell which comes with the Qalamdan. This makes the Qalamdan much more collectible and desirable.
