From the MidSouth West Tennessee estate of WW2 veteran & Railroad Fireman CC Wall Jr. who worked for the Gulf, Mobile & Ohio RailRoad Co. This rare earlyAMERICAN FLYER No.119 Train Tender Car. Made in USA of pressed tin metal. Measures 5 1/2\" overall end-to-end length x 2 1/4\" height x 1 7/8\" width.Based on my research I believe it is 1930\'s. The closest match to this tender car that I could find was in this 1931 The W. Bingham Co. (illustrated & descriptive) catalogue.The paper ads in photos #6 and #7 are not included - these are copies used for visualreference only. The unit is fairly clean but there is still room fora detail cleaning. The couplers are a bit askew and the tender car shows scratching & wear from actual play of many years past.
