This is an original gray graniteware tin cup that was used by the United States Army. It measures 4 and 7/8\" across and stands 2 and 3/4\" tall with the \"US\" stamped on the bottom. I am not quite sure if it would have been used during the Spanish-American War or just after. This is a used cup that has wear and surface rust plus some small rust holes on the bottom and around thebottom rim. This is a rare example of an early U.S. soldier\'s cup.
