Kennedy was assassinated in his open top limousine as his motorcade proceeded through the downtown area of Dallas, Texas, allegedly by Lee Harvey Oswald, an employee of the Texas School Book Depository, from where the shots are to have originated.This unpublished photo was taken the previous day in San Antonio, Texas, on November 21, 1963, by a private citizen onlooker with an extremely good vantage point, and shows the Presidential limousine making its way through the streets of San Antonio, less than a day before the assassination.***President Kennedy and Governor John Connally can be seen sitting in the rear seat. First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy and Nellie Connally can be seen sitting in the jump seats.
