Formany years I have collected WWII Imperial Japanese Army and Navy items tryingto buy only the best original items available. Now I am selling my collectionand moving on to other pursuits. Thisrare early Japanese Naval Aviation flying helmet of the 1920s pre-dates the Model 30 .On the interioris a nice white label showing it to be issued by the Yokosuka Naval Base on ahandsome black suede lining. The helmet is complete with all its components.The helmet is sound and displaysbeautifully. As expected of a vintage item 90 years old there is some surfacecracking at the top and dryness and the leather now fragile in spots.

Allimages were taken outside in intense natural sunlight and are not enhanced, the mannikin head is used for displaying the helmet and not included in this sale
