Up for grabs is this ORIGINAL SOVIET PACIFIST FEMINIST POSTER

dedicated to May Day or International Workers\' Day which takes place on May 1.

The poster was created by famous Soviet poster artist A. Dobrov (Александр Николаевич Добров) (1924-1989)

The poster is really rare. It was printed just in 36,000 copies in 1963.

The theme of the poster is the solidarity of all the working people and also it is praising the work of the female workers, who take part in constructing the new buildings, the houses for the future, which you can see at the background. The young woman on the poster is raising her hands and this joyous gesture of her is as if saying \"We, the working women, are building the future!\"

The combination of pink, green and yellow create a bright and fresh color chord.

Size: 84x56 cm or 33x22 inches.

Printed in MOSCOW, \"Soviet Russia\" in 1963.

Cosmetic condition:

The poster was folded in 4 and it has some traces of wear such as little holes (2x1cm and 2x2cm little holes in the very centre, Picture number 6).

You can see the paper to be torn at the upper and lower edge. (4 cm or 1,5 inches, Picture number 2, 4, 5).
