This is a very rare and ornate, late 1800s, James W. Tufts of Boston (see 4th photo for makers mark) quadruple silver plated, footed double serving bowl with crane and lattice accents. The handle is also ornately decorated, and permanently attached with no hinges. The bowls are separated with an open lattice-like \"wall\" - see 5th photo.Excellent condition with no dents and very minimal scratchesgivenits considerable age, and no repairs. I will leave it up to the buyer whether toretain the present patina or give it a high polish.
