Found in Lancaster County, PA

Very rare Pennsylvania Dutch hex designs with goldfinches medallion in the center and more birds in each corner.

The birds are quilted in each corner with roses and feathered vines with a 3/16\" rod quilting

Expertly hand quilted 8 stitches per inch

1\" Grid and line quilting throughout

Light pencil marks of the pattern are visible.

Thin cotton batting

Cream color cotton. Not white.

Hand bound

Dated 1938 in hand embroidery.

Measures 82\" x 79 1/2\"

Freshly hand laundered for the first time, to freshen from long term storage.

In very good condition. There is some light storage tanning and a few small light spots. see photos
