Description
  • Rare Pair Antique 17/18C Chinese Qing Kangxi Blue & White Porcelain Square Vases.
  • Unusual square pair, decoratedinfine underglaze blue narative scenes, presumably the 'eloping bride'.
  • Measures approx.10.3 cm across at widest and26.5 cm tall. Weight for one 1.27 kg. Datekangxi period (1662-1722).
  • Condition is damaged, some signs of wear and use commensurate with age. Both have large chips on the top corners, one has been broken and is extensively repaired. Converted to lamp bases at one time (not drilled). Fritting on the edges as common for this period. Note the fine, densequality paste at the large chip on the base of the broken vase.
