Title : Rare Pair French LOUIS XVI Gilt BRONZE Very Fine CANDLESTICKS 1780 18th Century

Description : A wonderful and rare pair of short standard gilt bronze candlesticks of a very fine quality with reeded design and acanthus and floral motifs; removable bobeche. Not to be missed, most definitely make a statement and sets of this period are quite rare.

Quantity : pair of gilted bronze candlesticks

Maker : French in origin; originally purchased from The Connoisseur antique shop in New York in 1982; winner will receive copy of the original bill

Age : circa 1780\'s, Louis XVI period

Size : each candlestick measures 5 1/4 inches high

Condition : In excellent condition with no dings, dents or noted damage; gilding is in wonderful condition, bright and shiny.
