Description: A rare pair of irish Georgian silver pistol handle dinner / side knives. The handles are very heavy - probably casr silver. One has a clear crowned harp hallmark.

Hallmarks / date / Maker: Hallmarked Irish sterling silver with hallmarks for Dublin c1740. Only one mark can be made out for sure - the crowned harp. The other mark is probably the Hibernia mark.
Condition: Good condition. Handles without repairs or splits. One blade looks to be original and the other is later (not such a good fit around the collar) and marked (London Made).
Monogram: Both finely crested as shown.
Dimensions: 21.2cm & 20.8cm
