Rare - Pair of 19th Century George Jones Sutherland China \"Japan\" pattern Plates
Beautiful porcelain plates decorated in the Sutherland \"Japan\" pattern. Hand painted with vase and flowers, ribbon and butterfly, with floral scrollwork along the edge. Stunning cobalt blue decoration. Marked on the reverse with the Sutherland, Stoke-Upon-Trent and George Jones & Co marks. England, CIrca 1850 to 1890. Also marked with pattern numbers and guilders numbers.
Both plates are in very good and original condition with no chips or cracks or repairs.Some minor rim frits.
The plates measure 10.5\" wide.
