Rare Pair of Vintage French Empire Goddess Serpent wall sconces :

These sconces have been in the family for years. I’m not sure where they even came from, all I know is they’ve been in storage for 30 plus years. They appear to be brass or possibly bronze. I did someresearch on them and they look to be a style from the French Empire period.They LOOK like they could have once been wired but I can\'t be sure. Also small piece is broken off (see photo of the piece) which I\'ve been told is an easy fix. There is a hallmark (see photo). The pieces where the candles or possible bulbs would go do come off and some seem to screw on tighter than others. Everything is all here. They just need some TLC. They have never been polished since I\'ve had them but are really beautiful as is. The detail is just amazing. They are quiteheavyas well. They sure don’t make things like they used to!
