Rare Phyllis Morris Faux Bamboo White Chinese Chippendale Dining Chairs & Table Cast Aluminum This set is a decorator\'s DREAM and includes glass topped table and four chairs straight from estate in Cocoa Beach, FL. The chairs and table are made of Cast Aluminum. Fabric looks original but almost too good so I am not sure - I contacted the Phyllis Morris Studio in California and they were unsure as well. My contact at Phyllis Morris indicated that she thought these to be from 1970 or earlier and that they were not part of the \"Regular Line\" and that it was not even available for special order after 1979. Looks like an indoor - outdoor fabric This set is very well made and has a fresh clean streamlined Very Modern (MCM) look! Chairs measure about 33\" high overall seat height is 17\" by 18 1/4\" wide. Chair seats are about 16 1/2\" x 15 1/4\" The original glass table top is just shy of a 1/2 inch thick. The size of the glass top is 36\" x 60\" is sits at about 28 1/2\" high. The finish / paint is chipped slightly here and there on the chairs (see photo) but it has a great look some decorators might even chip them more for the look or they could easily be touched up. I also understand that these can be stripped and repainted, I have seen these in pastel pinks, greens and baby blues. They also originally could be purchased in bright orange see catalog cover photo with the beautiful Phyllis Morris sitting on the floor - this is the cover or her Premiere Collection catalog from 1970. If I had room to keep this wonderful set I might even have them redone in Royal Blue or Red and recover the seats in a rich brocade to keep indoors of course! No breaks or repairs. Chairs may have had casters at one time but are no longer attached. The glass top does have some scratches but no chips to the edges. Free local pick up and local delivery-Orlando Area only for $35.
