For the die-hard RL collector, an exceptionally rare Polo Ralph Lauren vintage “Masters” green blazer. No labelled size, but I measure it to a 42 Long: this is a garment for a gentleman of stature, both literally & figuratively.

I worked at a Polo Ralph Lauren store in the mid-1980’s and I distinctly remember selling these sport coats. As far as I know, RL never did them again. Clubby Masters Green color with the classic Polo brass buttons - Polo helmet, mallets & ball motif. This is the timeless PRL Navy Blazer done in green. I searched for this Blazer for years. Regrettably, it is much too large for me. If I ever find another one in a 40R I will snap it up. This one, however, must go to another Polo aficionado.

Union made in the USA. Mid-1980’s Polo gold “zig-zag” thread label. Long (12.5”!) single vent. Patch pockets. All original buttons. Felled (double-stitched) seams: a classic vintage-Polo feature. In used, but clean overall condition. Please note, the sleeves on this jacket have been tailored by the previous owner, although they are still quite long at 25.5”: there is 2” of material in the turn-up to let them back out. Originally retailed by renowned Frost Bros. of San Antonio, TX (1917-1988).
