A rare and lovely Nursery plate made c1845 of the very young Prince Albert Edward--The Prince of Wales---eldest son/2nd child of Queen Victoria. The plate is known as \"England\'s Hope\" and says this on the plate and also \"Prince of Wales\". It has the young Prince on Horseback. Has a lovey border of embossed/raised daisies which was very popular design at the time. The plate is approx 8 inches in diameter and in good condition--to be picky has a few dust specs in the pottery made at time of manufacture.
