This listing is fora rare gold plated Ronson Decanter lighter with the original design flat top. First manufactured in 1936, the Decanter went through a few changes during it\'s production life. This particular example has the original designed \"flat top\" style top, which is highly collectible. It is in the rare gold plate, which also adds to the lighters rarity. This lighter is in good condition, with no visible flaws when displayed. The bottom of the lighter is in poor condition, as it looks like someone used it to tack in small nails or something; brilliant. There are no dents or dings in the rest of the body. The gold plate is in excellent condition, and buffs to a beautiful shine. The flint tube is clear, and with one inserted a hardy spark is produced. This lighter has NOT been fueled and tested.
