Rare Royal Doulton \"Virago\" Baby Inkwell
Thisis a stoneware inkwell made by Royal Doulton circa 1909 to support the Women\'s Suffrage movement in Britain at the time. The baby\'s head swings upto reveal the inkwell.This example is in brown and green glaze. It is marked with the Roral Doulton Lion and Crown mark and has a British Registry number of \"Rd No 537199\" Also numbered6985 on the bottom.
This piece measures 3 1/2 inches tall and is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs.
