Featuring a rare and beautiful round serving bowl with lid in the \"Theme Informal\" pattern designed by Yamato for Russell Wright.

Excellent condition - no chips, cracks or repairs. Looks unused.

This line of high quality original mid-century modern stoneware was produced only in prototype form in 1964.

High gloss with black and brown with orange flecks.Oriental oil spot glazing process which releases the iron in the glaze

and allow it to come to the surface. This is unlike other ceramic dinnerware because it leads to self detail and pattern

through uneven texture.These types of pieces are prized - some are in museums.

This bowl measures about 7 3/4\" in diameter and is about 2 3/4\" high not including the lid.

A great addition to your modern collection - or a terrificgift for the collector.
