Thisis a lot of eight (8) figures from Herrings Soldiers (HS) Set No. 6 – ScotsGuards, 1884. The lot includes eight (8) other ranks. HS models are 54mm scalefigures made in the style of old toy soldiers. HS figures represent regimentsfrom the Queen Victoria’s British Empire and World War I; only thirteen (13) sets were created under the Herrings Soldierstrademark. The models were the creation of Richard Herring, Scarsdale, NewYork. Mr. Herring produced Herrings and Richards Soldiers from 1977 through themid-1980s; production was very limited.
