A charming and rare set of 4 delft tiles dating back to the mid 18thCentury, circa 1760.

Dutch origin.

All four images depicting ice skaters. These are rare subjectmatter.

Presented in later wooden frame as per images. Thetiles were placed in this frame by AJ Mucklow & Son in April 1933 (established1871 and based at 35 Cranbourn Street, Leicester Square, London) - label versoconfirms.

Condition - surface craqueluer to the tiles. Minor agerelated marks to the wooden frame and gilt slip.

Dimensions - Including Frame 12 3/4\" x 12 3/4\"
